Overview

Releasing trust funds is a key step in finalising a sale in Box + Dice. The Statement screen consolidates all relevant financial actions, such as invoicing and pending payments, into one place which makes it easier to manage and complete the transaction process efficiently.


Release trust money

Note: You must address all invoice-related notifications before proceeding with trust funds release.

To release trust funds:

  • Go to: Sales > Listings
  • Click Accounting > Statement
  • Click Release Trust Money

A confirmation pop-up will appear.

  • Click Confirm to proceed

Process pending payment for advertising and commission invoice

  • Click Process

A new payment modal will display.

All payment data are pre-filled based on the pending transaction setup in advertising or commissions invoice.

  • Click Save


View sales receipt

After saving a pending payment, a Sales Receipt pop-up appears confirming that the receipt has been allocated automatically.

To view sales receipt:

  • Click the receipt ref# link in the pop-up
  • Click the listing statement link in the pop-up to view all transactions for the listing
  • Or Go to: Sales > Listings
  • Click Accounting > Invoices and Receipts 

Tip: Ensure all invoices and pending payments are configured correctly before releasing trust funds to avoid discrepancies in your trust reconciliation.
