About bills

Bills help you track actual costs recorded against supplier campaign items. When you enter a bill, Box+Dice links the bill to a supplier and allows you to allocate costs to the relevant campaign items. Bills can be saved as drafts while details are being reviewed, then published once confirmed.

Enter a bill

To enter a bill:

  • In the Side Bar, click Accounting > Purchases
  • Click +New Bill
  • Enter the bill number and bill date
  • Select the supplier from the dropdown list
  • Enter the bill total
  • Click Save or Save as Draft. Unbilled items for the selected supplier will be displayed
  • Use the text search, date range, or advertisement type filters to locate the required items
  • Select the relevant items and click Add Campaign Items
  • Adjust the actual cost if it differs from the estimated cost
  • If the bill was saved as a draft, publish it once all details have been confirmed

You can save a bill as a draft while reviewing supplier information and campaign item costs. Publish the bill only after all details have been verified.

Adjust an existing bill

  • In the Side Bar, click Accounting > Purchases
  • Use the available filters to locate the bill
  • Click the bill number to open the record
