Overview

Printing letters from the Contact Details screen allows you to generate personalised correspondence for a single contact using predefined templates.

This feature merges contact, consultant and listing information into the selected template, helping ensure consistency and accuracy. It’s typically used when sending one‑off letters that need to be stored against the contact record for future reference.


Generate and print a letter

Letters for individual contacts are created from the Contact Details screen. This ensures the correct contact information is automatically merged into the template before printing or saving.

To create a letter for a contact:

  • Go to: Contacts
  • Open the Contact Details screen for the relevant contact
  • Click More > Letters

  • Confirm or select:
    • the From consultant
    • the To addressee
  • Select the letter template you want to use
  • If required, select the listing the letter relates to
    • This depends on which fields are used in the selected template
  • Select relationships (optional)

  • Click Preview to review the letter with merged details
  • Click Save to PDF to download the letter and print it

Save letters to contact history

When printing or saving a letter, in the lower left you will have the option to store a copy in the contact’s history. Saving letters helps maintain a complete record of communication with the contact.

  • Tick Record new Letter event in contact timeline to include the letter in history

This will save the letter is saved under History on the Contact Details screen.

Note: The old Library screen is still available under More > Legacy Library.
