Summary

Learn how to prevent charges for incorrect listings by removing them before billing, and understand key limitations that may affect deletion.

This article covers:

About listing deletion and billing

If a listing is created by mistake and you are on a per-listing subscription, the listing must be completely deleted to avoid being charged.

Updating the listing status to Listing Cancelled or Listing Withdrawn will not prevent charges, as these listings are still considered billable.

To ensure the listing is not included in billing, it must be removed from the database before the next billing cycle.

Understand billing considerations

If you have already been invoiced for a mistaken listing, you may request a review from the accounts team.

Each request is reviewed individually, and approval will depend on the specific circumstances.

If the listing is deleted before the next billing cycle, charges should not apply. It is recommended to check your next invoice to confirm.

Delete a listing

To delete a listing:

  • Go to the listing
  • Select Menu (three dots) > Delete
  • Click Delete to confirm deletion

Notes:

If an appraisal is attached to the listing, it will be permanently lost when the listing is deleted. Ensure a copy is recorded before proceeding.

Listings with active listing management cannot be deleted. The system will display a message explaining why deletion is not available, and charges will still apply.
