About linking filters to a lead list

Linking a filter to a lead list allows you to convert any Contact filter into a Lead Flow lead list. This removes the need to manually maintain your list, as it dynamically updates based on the current state of your database.

This feature is useful for keeping your prospecting lists relevant and actionable while reducing manual effort.

Once your filtered contact list is ready, you can link it to a lead list directly.

For example, you may create a filtered list of contacts marked with a specific category (such as ‘My Contact’) who have not been contacted in over a year.

To link a filter to a lead list:

  • Go to: Contacts
  • Click + Add Filter Item
  • Select Last recorded contact
  • Select the date range
  • Click Apply
  • Click Link Filter to Lead List at the top of the screen
  • Select the consultant (yourself or a colleague)
  • Select an existing Lead List or create a new one
  • Click Apply

You will then be redirected to Lead Flow to view the lead list.

Manage your linked lead list

A maximum of 25 leads will be added to the lead list at one time to keep it manageable. These leads are taken from the top of your filtered results, so ensure your list is sorted appropriately before linking.

As leads are dismissed, the list will reduce in size. You can replenish it at any time:

  • Click the blue bar at the bottom labelled Create more Appraisal Leads

Within the Lead Flow screen, you can view the filter used to generate the lead list.

  • Hover over the Linked Filter link to see the applied filters

Notes:

The default time before an appraisal lead can be re-created from a linked filter after being dismissed is 180 days. To change this, navigate to Settings > General > Lead Flow.

If you receive a warning, it means the contacts either already exist on another Lead Flow list or have been dismissed previously.
