Learn how to remove an item from a campaign.

How it works
You can remove items from a campaign directly, unless they are already invoiced, billed, or paid. In those cases, you’ll first need to remove them from the related financial documents before they can be deleted from the campaign.
Remove a campaign item
To remove a campaign item:
- Go to: Sales > Listing
- Click the Campaigns tab
- Hover over the item
- Click the trash can icon that appears to the left of the item
- Click Yes
Remove an invoiced, paid, or billed item
An item attached to an invoice, bill, or sales receipt must first be removed from those documents before you can remove it from the campaign.
Remove an item from a sales receipt
To remove an item from a sales receipt:
- Go to: Sales > Listing
- Click the Accounting tab of the listing
- Locate the Credit item that contains the campaign item
- Click the Credit item
- Hover over the item name and click the trash can to delete it
Once the item has been removed from the related sales receipt, you can now remove the item using the standard steps to remove a campaign item.
Remove an item from a bill
To remove an item from a bill:
- Go to: Sales > Listing
- Click the Campaigns tab
- Click into the campaign item
- In the pop-up window, click the Bill number
- In the Bills section, find the campaign item
- Hover over the item and click the trash can icon
Once the item has been removed from the related bill. You can now remove the item using the standard steps to remove a campaign item.
Remove item from an invoice
To remove item from an invoice:
- Go to: Sales > Listing
- Click the Campaigns tab
- Click into the campaign item
- In the pop-up window, click the Invoice number
- Hover over the item and click the trash can
Once the item has been removed from the related invoice. You can now remove the item using the standard steps to remove a campaign item.
