Summary
Learn how profit and loss information is displayed in Box+Dice and how the system streamlines the process for viewing campaign financial data directly in the system.
This article covers:
About profit and loss
The advertising accounting system has been built for efficiency, with automation and single entry where possible. By reducing the need for manual “report/adjust” workflows, you can quickly see campaign and expense details without running reports.
When you view onscreen information in this section, you’ll notice that your old manual processes are streamlined — but you still have access to the same data when you need it.
Campaign header section
At the top of a campaign, you’ll see the Campaign Header. This section shows you the most important figures in one place:
- Campaign Total -The total campaign cost
- Estimate Cost -The projected cost for the campaign
- Billed Amount - The amount that has already been billed
- Difference Amount - The difference between the estimate and billed amount
- Advertising Authority - Displays the amount authorised for the campaign
This data is all visible directly in the system without needing to generate a separate report.
Campaign and listing screens
In addition to the header, you can view more detailed information in both the Campaign and Listing screens. Here, you can see whether an item is:
- Billed
- Invoiced
- Paid
Overspends and Discounts flow directly through from Campaigns and Bills through to the Commission Split screen, then on to Agent Commission Statements. This design ensures you only enter information once, with updates carried through to every connected part of the system.
