Summary

Learn how to deactivate and archive automations when they are no longer required. Archived automations can be restored and reactivated at any time.

Overview

Automations can no longer be permanently deleted from the Automations module.

Instead, automations can be deactivated to stop them from running or archived to remove them from active automation lists while retaining their configuration for future use.

This allows your agency to preserve existing automation setups and reactivate them whenever they are needed.

Deactivate an automation

To deactivate an automation:

  • Go to: Settings > Automations
  • Click Automations
  • Locate the automation(s) you want to disable
  • Select the automation(s) using the checkbox
  • Click Deactivate

Alternatively, use the status toggle beside the automation to change it from Active to Inactive.

Once deactivated, the automation remains available in the Inactive tab but will no longer run.

Archive an automation

To archive an automation:

  • Go to: Settings > Automations
  • Click Automations
  • Select the automation(s) you want to archive
  • Click Archive

Archived automations are removed from the Active and Inactive lists and can be viewed from the Archived tab.

Reactivate an automation

If you need to use an archived automation again:

  • Go to: Settings > Automations > Archived
  • Locate the archived automation(s)
  • Select the automation(s) using the checkbox
  • Click Unarchive
  • Enable the automation using the status toggle or click Activate

Once reactivated, the automation will move back into the active automation list and resume running when its trigger conditions are met.

Tip: Deactivating an automation is recommended when you want to temporarily stop it from running. Archive automations that are no longer needed but may be reused in the future.
