Overview
The Apply Task Workflow automation action allows you to automatically add a task workflow to a sales listing.
You can use this action to ensure your team follows the same process every time a listing reaches a specific stage.
This is particularly useful for:
- Compliance checklists
- New listing processes
- Pre-settlement workflows
- Office procedures that require multiple tasks
- Workflows involving different users, teams, or roles
By combining task workflows with automations, you can automatically start the correct checklist without needing to apply it manually.
Note: This feature is designed for Agency Admins, Sales Admins, and Compliance Officers who want to automate repeatable sales processes.
Apply a task workflow to an automation
To apply a task workflow to an automation:
- Go to: Settings > Automations
- Select an existing automation or click New Automation
- Set the Trigger Category to Listing and select the required Trigger Type
- Click Create
- Enter the automation Name and Description
- Click the + button below the trigger block
- Select Action
- Click Apply Task Workflow
- Open the action block
- Select the Default Consultant
- Search for and select the Task Workflow you want to apply
- Click Save as Draft to save the automation for later, or
- Click Save & Activate to activate it
