Learn how to add custom deduction reasons to your system. Custom deduction reasons become available alongside the default options when adding deductions to commissions.
Deduction reasons are used when recording deductions against commissions. In addition to the default system options, you can create your own deduction reasons to better suit your business requirements.
To add a deduction reason:
- Go to: Settings > Sales > Deduction Reasons
- Click + Add reason
- Enter your required deduction reason
- Click Save
Any deduction reasons you add will appear alongside the default system deduction reasons when adding deductions to commissions.
The custom deduction reasons will also be available within Sales Details.
