Contact relationships let you link multiple contacts, making it easier to manage related parties such as family members, business partners, or shared property owners.
Add a contact relationship
To create a relationship between two contacts:
- Go to: Contacts in the sidebar
- Navigate to the contact you want to start the relationship from
- Click the + icon next to Relationships
- Use the search field to find the other party by name, phone, or email
- Use the dropdown list to define how the contacts are related (e.g., spouse, business partner)
- Decide which contact’s address will be used as the default for this relationship
Note: Default address selection affects mailing and reporting functions.
- Click Create to save the relationship.
Link multiple contacts
If you need to link more than two contacts:
- Repeat the steps above for each additional contact
- Each relationship is created individually
Tip: Linking contacts helps maintain accurate records for shared addresses and communication.
