About relationship types
Relationship Types define how contacts relate to each other in Box+Dice.
Note: Only users with Admin-level access can manage these settings.
Access relationship types settings
To manage Relationship Types:
- Go to: Settings in the sidebar
- Select General
- Click Terminology
- Choose Relationship Types
Add a new relationship type
To add a relationship type:
- Click + Add Relationship Type
- Enter the name in the Name field
- Click Save
Tip: Use clear, descriptive names for easy identification.
Edit an existing relationship type
To edit a relationship type:
- Click the relationship type you want to edit
- Update the name in the Name field
- Click Save
Delete a relationship type
To delete a relationship type:
- Select the relationship type you want to remove
- Click the trash icon to delete it
Note: Deleted relationship types cannot be recovered. Ensure the type is no longer in use before deleting.
