Test browser performance using Octane Score
Test 1 – Octane Score (Browser Performance Test)
Test 1 measures how well your web browser performs. It runs a series of JavaScript tests and gives a score that helps identify browser-related slowness.
To run test:
- Go to: http://chromium.github.io/octane
- Click Start Octane 2.0
- Wait for the test to finish
- Take a screenshot of the final score screen
Measure internet speed using Speedtest
Test 2 – Speed Test (Internet Speed Check)
This test helps determine if your internet connection is contributing to the slowdown. It measures download speed, upload speed, and ping (latency).
To run test:
- Go to: http://www.speedtest.net
- Click Begin Test
- Wait for the results to load
- Take a screenshot of the result page
Check CPU and memory usage on both Windows and Mac
Test 3 – System Performance (CPU & Memory Usage)
This step checks if your computer’s hardware (CPU and memory) is under heavy load, which may cause the system to run slowly.
Tor run test for Windows (PC):
- Right-click the taskbar
- Select Task Manager
- Click the Performance tab
- Take a screenshot of the CPU and Memory usage
To run test for macOS (Mac):
- Press Command + Spacebar
- Type and open Activity Monitor
- Click on the CPU tab

- Click on the Memory tab
- Take a screenshot
Submit your results to Support
Once all tests are completed, email your results to the support team. This allows them to assess your system and provide appropriate solutions.
What to include:
- Screenshots from all three tests:
To take a screenshot for computer users:
- Press Print Screen
To take a screenshot for Mac users:
- Press Command + Shift + 3 for a full screen or Command + Shift + 4 to select part of the screen
- A brief description of the issue you’re experiencing
- Any patterns you’ve noticed (e.g. slowness at certain times of day)
These will help our support team respond faster and more accurately to performance-related issues.
