Summary

Learn how to configure and display key buyer information in the Agent App so agents can quickly understand a buyer’s background before starting a conversation at an inspection.

This article covers:

About key buyer information

Key buyer information is a configurable section in the Box+Dice Agent App that displays selected buyer details at the top of the buyer screen.

Its purpose is to give agents immediate visibility of important facts about a buyer, such as their relationship with the agency or their buying intent, before speaking with them at an inspection.

The key buyer information section sits at the top of the buyer screen, directly under the buyer’s name and interest level.

It can display:

  • Up to three selected contact categories applied to the buyer
  • Buyer readiness information from realestate.com.au (when available)

This information is visible to agents when a buyer is checked in at an inspection, allowing quick assessment without navigating through the full contact record.

Buyer categories shown to agents

If your agency uses contact categories to classify buyers, selected categories can be displayed in the key buyer information section.

Common examples include:

  • Current sellers
  • Investors
  • Vendor prospects
  • First home buyers

These categories help agents immediately understand the buyer’s background or relationship with the agency.

Tip: Choose categories that are meaningful at inspection time rather than administrative or internal-only labels.

Configure which categories are displayed

Admins can configure which buyer categories appear in the key buyer information section.

To select categories:

  • In the browser CRM, go to Settings
  • Select General
  • Open Agent App settings
  • Choose up to three contact categories to display

The changes will automatically saved.

When a buyer has one or more of these categories applied, they will appear at the top of the buyer screen in the Agent App.

Note: Only categories selected in Admin settings will display, even if the buyer has additional categories applied in their contact record.

REA buyer readiness and category visibility

When your agency uses Box+Dice Lead Capture to receive web enquiries from realestate.com.au, a buyer readiness indicator can appear alongside key buyer categories in the Agent App.

Buyer readiness reflects where the buyer is in their purchasing journey and is shown as a coloured dot:

  • Red - Early stage
  • Yellow - Mid stage
  • Green - Late stage

When configured categories are applied to a buyer, they display near the top of the buyer screen together with the REA buyer readiness indicator (when available).

For example: The screenshot shows a buyer with three designated categories applied, displayed prominently under the buyer’s name. Combined with the REA buyer readiness indicator, this gives the agent immediate context that the buyer has a strong level of intent, an existing relationship with the business as a landlord, and prior transaction history with the agency. This allows the agent to be better informed before starting a conversation at the inspection.

Note: REA buyer readiness is available only for leads received via realestate.com.au through Box+Dice Lead Capture and will not appear for manually created contacts or leads from other sources.
