Summary
Learn how to undo an incorrect End of Month Rollover and reprocess it with the correct closing date.
If you've rolled over with the wrong end date, you can reverse it and redo the process.
To undo an incorrect rollover:
- Go to: Accounting > Trust > Reconciliation
- Click Archives
- Select the date of the Rollover report with the incorrect period
- Click Unrollover to undo the rollover
Note: This action will revert the trust account to its last reconciled state, allowing you to reprocess with the correct date.
Once unreconciled, you can redo the End of Month Rollover.
- Go to: Accounting > Trust > Reconciliation
- Enter the correct closing date and closing balance
- Verify that the cashbook and ledger amounts balance
- Click Rollover to generate the updated End of Month report
Tip: Always double-check the closing date before clicking Rollover to avoid repeating the process.
