Learn how to set the starting month of your company's financial year in Box+Dice.
The Starting Month of Financial Year setting defines when your organisation's financial year begins within Box+Dice.
By default, the starting month is set to July. You can change this setting to match your company's financial reporting period and accounting practices.
Note: Changes to this setting affect the financial year configuration used throughout the system.
To update the start of the financial year:
- Go to: Settings > General > Starting Month of Financial Year
- Select your preferred starting month
The change will save automatically after a few seconds.
After changing the starting month, review any financial reporting processes that rely on your organisation's financial year configuration.
