Summary
Learn how buyer register access is controlled through Access Control Levels (ACLs). If you cannot edit contacts in the buyer register, reviewing the assigned permissions can help identify the cause.
The Buyer Register permission determines whether you can view and edit contacts within a listing's buyer register.
Access is governed by your assigned Access Control Level. If the required permission is not enabled for your access level, you may be unable to edit buyer register contacts.
Note: If you do not have permission to access or modify Access Control Levels, contact your Office Champion or system administrator for assistance.
To review buyer register permissions:
- Go to: Settings > General > Access > Listings > Listing Details > Buyer Register
- Review the permissions assigned to the relevant access level
- If your access level is not listed (for example, Staff (Open)), click the + icon and add the required access level
Note: Changes to Buyer Register permissions affect all staff assigned to that Access Control Level.
