About SMS settings

SMS settings allow you to manage how messaging is configured and controlled within Box+Dice. This includes SMS credit management, notifications, reporting, and automated messaging features.

Access to SMS settings is restricted through access control levels (ACL) and can be assigned to specific roles and consultant groups.

SMS settings are available via Settings > General > SMS.

Access control

Access to manage SMS settings is controlled through access control levels. Only designated roles and consultant groups can make changes.

To configure SMS access:

  • Go to: Settings > General > Access Control Levels > Settings > SMS 
  • Add the required roles or consultant groups
  • Click Save

This access control determines who can save changes within the SMS settings screen.

SMS features

SMS settings include several features that control messaging behaviour and system functionality.

To configure the SMS settings:

SMS settings also include notification controls to help manage credit usage and alerts.

  • Notification amount - Defines the credit threshold for alerts
  • A reminder email is sent when SMS credit drops below this threshold
  • Notification email address - Defines where low credit emails and Stripe invoices are sent

To configure Check-in SMS:

  • Go to: Settings > Automations > Check-in SMS
  • Automatic SMS when buyer is added - Sends a message when a buyer is added
  • Auto SMS welcome message - Sends a welcome message when checking buyers in on the Agent App
