Overview
The Terminology list defines the various labels used throughout the system. These labels help standardise how information is displayed across contacts, properties, listings, and related workflows.
Customising terminology allows your business to align the system language with internal processes and preferred naming conventions.
Terminology settings can be accessed via Settings > General > Terminology.
Activity types
Activity types describe the relationship between contacts and properties, such as "Vendor". These labels are used across contact history and within activity filters on both the Contact and Property search screens.
- Existing system activity types can be renamed as required
- To update a label, select the activity type, enter a new label, and click Save
- Activity types cannot be added or deleted
Relationship types
Relationship types define how contacts are connected to one another, such as "Husband" or "Business Partner". These appear in contact details and support workflows like merge letters, tasks, and appointments that involve related contacts.
- New relationship types can be created using the + button
- Existing relationship types can be removed using the bin button
- A relationship type cannot be deleted if it is currently assigned to a contact
Consultant reference label
Consultant reference labels describe the agents responsible for managing appraisals, listings, and sales. These labels appear on the Listing screen and within filters in the advanced property search.
- Existing labels can be renamed by selecting the label, updating it, and clicking Save
- Consultant reference labels cannot be added or deleted
Feature property types
Feature property types are used to identify listings flagged as "Feature" properties. These are typically used when sending blast emails or when working with a GRAB website integrated with Box+Dice.
- Existing feature property types can be renamed
- Changes are saved by selecting the label and clicking Save
- Feature property types cannot be added or removed
Sales listings
The Sales Listings section includes a single configurable label for the estimated authority price range within the Listing Information screen.
- The Authority Price field label can be updated as needed
- Changes are saved by editing the label and clicking Save
- No additional fields can be added or removed
Properties
Property terminology includes labels for property tags and custom geographical areas, referred to as Property Areas. These labels are used across both Contact and Property search screens.
- Property tags and property area labels can be renamed
- Select the relevant item, update the label, and click Save
- Items in this section cannot be added or deleted
