About custom copy per portal

Custom copy per portal allows you to create tailored advertising content for each property portal within a sales listing. This is useful when different portals have varying word limits or formatting restrictions.

By using custom copy, you can ensure your listing content is not truncated and remains optimised for each platform, while still maintaining a master version of your advertising text.

Note: A master copy is still required and will be used for any portals where custom copy has not been added.

Add custom copy for a portal

These instructions are applicable for clients who do not integrate with a 3rd party media vendor such as CampaignTrack or Advenda to import Advertising Copy.

To create portal-specific advertising copy.

  • In the listing screen, select Advertising Copy
  • Enter the master heading and copy, then click Save
  • Select +Add Copy to reveal additional options
  • Click +Add to create custom copy for a specific portal
  • Select the portal from the dropdown
  • Enter the custom Heading and Body
  • Click Save

You can create custom copy for multiple portals as needed.

  • Repeat the add process for each portal requiring unique copy
  • Each portal can have its own heading and description
Tip: Use shorter versions of your copy for portals with strict character limits to avoid content being cut off.

Delete custom copy

Remove portal-specific copy if it is no longer needed.

  • Locate and select the custom copy entry
  • Click the trash can icon to delete it
