Awaiting Unconditional Sales Listing Filter

Summary

The Awaiting Unconditional filter is designed to identify sales listings that are still considered to be awaiting their unconditional milestone based on the data recorded against the sale.

A listing will appear in this filter when:

  • The listing is not Cancelled
  • A Purchaser has been attached to the sale
  • The Actual Unconditional Date is either:
    • Blank / not recorded, or
    • A future date
Important: The filter does not currently exclude listings with a status of Settled. If a settled listing has no Actual Unconditional Date recorded, it may still appear in the Awaiting Unconditional filter.

The Awaiting Unconditional filter uses specific sales data to determine whether a listing should be returned in the results.

How the filter works

A listing is returned when all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The listing is not cancelled
    • Listings with a status of Cancelled are excluded.
  2. A purchaser is attached
    • The listing must have purchaser activity associated with the sale.
  3. The Actual Unconditional Date indicates the sale is still awaiting unconditional
    • No Actual Unconditional Date has been entered, or
    • The Actual Unconditional Date is in the future.

Why a Settled listing may appear

Some users expect that a listing with a status of Settled will never appear in the Awaiting Unconditional filter. However, the filter does not currently use the settlement status when determining results.

If a listing is marked as Settled but the Actual Unconditional Date is either blank or in the future, the system continues to treat the listing as awaiting unconditional and includes it in the filter results.

How to remove a listing from the filter

A listing will only appear in the Awaiting Unconditional filter when it meets all filter criteria.

If a listing is appearing in the filter and should no longer be considered awaiting unconditional,

  1. Open the Sales Listing.
  2. Navigate to Sale Details.
  3. Enter the correct Actual Unconditional Date.
  4. Save the changes.

Once an Actual Unconditional Date in the past is recorded, the listing will no longer appear in the filter.

Note: A listing will not appear in the Awaiting Unconditional filter if it does not have a purchaser attached. However, for completed sales, the recommended way to remove a listing from the filter is to enter the correct Actual Unconditional Date.

Why is my Settled listing appearing in the Awaiting Unconditional filter?

This occurs when the listing does not have an Actual Unconditional Date recorded. The filter is based on unconditional date data rather than the settlement status.
