About deleting a listing
Deleting a listing permanently removes it from the system. This function is intended only for listings that were created in error.
It should not be used for listings that are withdrawn or where a sale does not proceed. In those cases, standard listing status updates should be applied instead.
Important: Only use deletion when a listing has been created incorrectly. Once deleted, the listing cannot be recovered.
Delete a listing
To delete a listing:
- Go to: Sales from the side bar
- Search for the listing and open the listing details screen
- Click the ellipsis (…) menu
- Select Delete
- Click Delete to confirm
This will remove the listing from the system completely.
Deletion restrictions
In some cases, a listing cannot be deleted.
- Listings with associated Trust records cannot be deleted
- Listings with associated Advertising records cannot be deleted
These dependencies must be resolved before deletion can occur.
