Summary
Learn why buyer registers cannot be merged between listings and how to manually move buyers to another property.
This article covers:
About moving buyers between properties
Buyer registers are linked to individual property listings and are used to track enquiries, interest, and engagement. Each listing maintains its own set of buyer records.
When managing listings, you may need to move buyers from one property to another. This is typically required when listings are duplicated, updated, or replaced.
System limitations
Box+Dice does not currently support merging or moving a buyer register from one property to another automatically.
Manually transfer buyers
To move buyers to another property, follow these steps:
- Open the original property listing
- Review the buyer register and identify the buyers to transfer
- Open the new property listing
- Add each buyer to the new listing
- Copy any relevant notes or history from the original listing
- Repeat for all required buyers
