About unconditional date editing

The unconditional date represents when a contract becomes unconditional, meaning all conditions have been met. This date is important for tracking sales progress and reporting accuracy.

Once a property is marked as settled, certain fields, including the unconditional date, are locked to prevent unintended changes. To update the date, the property must first be reinstated.

Why the field is greyed out

If the unconditional date field is unavailable or greyed out, it is because the property has already been marked as settled.

Note: Settlement locks key sales data fields to preserve accuracy and reporting integrity.

Update the unconditional date

Follow the steps below to update the unconditional date:

  • Go to: Sales > Listing
  • Open the relevant listing
  • Take note of the current settlement date
  • Click Reinstate in the blue status box
  • Select Keep All to retain existing sales information
  • Click Reinstate
  • Update the unconditional date
  • Click Settle Property in the yellow status bar
  • Re-enter the recorded settlement date
  • Click Save
Tip: Ensure the original settlement date is recorded before reinstating to avoid data inconsistencies.
