Summary

Learn how Days on Market is calculated for both current and sold listings based on campaign and listing dates.

How it's calculated

Days on Market (DOM) measures how long a property has been listed for sale. It’s a key metric for tracking listing performance and market activity. The calculation depends on whether the listing is current or sold.

Current Listings

For active listings:

  • If the Campaign Start Date is entered:
    • Days on Market is equal to the Number of days between the Campaign Start Date and today’s date
  • If the Campaign Start Date is not entered:
    • Days on Market is equal to the Number of days between the Date Listed and today’s date

Sold Listings

For sold listings:

  • If the Campaign Start Date is entered:
    • Days on Market is equal to the Number of days between the Campaign Start Date and the Sale Date
  • If the Campaign Start Date is not entered:
    • Days on Market is equal to the Number of days between the Date Listed and the Sale Date
Tip: Accurate Days on Market data helps agents analyse listing performance and market trends.
