Overview
Reason to Call notifications help agents identify who to reach out to next. These alerts appear on the Boards view and Dashboard, providing timely prompts to engage with contacts based on their activity or relationship milestones.
When enabled, Reason to Call notifications are automatically triggered when specific actions occur—helping you stay proactive in prospecting and client follow-up.
Reason to call notification settings
To view or configure Reason to Call notifications:
Go to: Settings > General > Reason to Call
Select or update the notifications you want to enable
Available notification triggers
You can configure notifications for the following contact or property events:
- When a contact is added as a buyer to a listing
- When a contact attends an inspection
- When a third party creates a lead
- When a sales activity for a property similar to the contact's occurs
- When a listing is created
- When a property is sold
- When a purchase anniversary occurs
Notification types
Depending on the configuration, notifications can be either Public or Personal:
Public - Visible to all users who can access the contact. Dismissing the notification removes it for everyone
Personal - Visible only to you, even if other users can view the same contact
View Reason to call notifications
Reason to Call notifications appear in two areas of Box+Dice:
- Boards View - Notifications appear alongside contacts in the Boards view, showing who you should contact first based on recent triggers
- Dashboard - Notifications also display on your Dashboard for contacts assigned under the My Contact category, where you’re listed as the Category Consultant
Administrators can update the Reason To Call ACL to control who can manage, edit, or view notifications across your organisation.
