About orphaned contacts
Orphaned contacts are those who haven’t had recent engagement and are at risk of becoming inactive. MRI Box and Dice provides a saved filter to help you quickly identify these contacts.
Regular follow-ups keep your database healthy. The orphaned contact filter helps you reconnect before you lose valuable relationships.
Use the orphaned contact filter
Note: If you don’t see the orphaned contact filter, check your user permissions or contact your system administrator.
To filter orphaned contacts:
- Go to: Contacts in the sidebar
- Navigate to the Saved Filters section in your dashboard
- Select Orphan Contacts 12 months
The screen will automatically update once the filter is selected.
- Review filter criteria
- Last recorded contact is before 365 days ago or unknown
- Categories include “My Contact” or Consultant is me
Tip: You can customise the filter duration (e.g., 6 months instead of 12) to suit your follow-up strategy. Click the pencil icon at the bottom right to edit the filter.
