About the last inspection date
What it is
The last inspection date on a buyer profile helps your team see when the buyer last attended or was registered for an inspection related to your listings. In MRI Box+Dice, buyers are managed from buyer leads, and inspections are captured and worked with via the Inspections workflow.
Where to access it
You’ll find the buyer’s inspections list on their profile in Buyer Leads. Selecting the correct inspection date updates the buyer’s Last Inspection Date field (as per your current B+D configuration).
Prerequisites
- You can access the Buyer Leads screen and the buyer profile you want to update
- The relevant inspection has already been created against the listing (Inspections are added/managed in the listing workflow)
Add the last inspection date
To add inspection date:
- Go to: Properties
- Search for the property and open its profile
- Go to the Buyer Leads tab
- Search for the buyer and select the record to view their profile
- Click on the drop-down arrow or Inspections to expand it
- From the list of inspections associated with the buyer, select the correct date (e.g., the most recent attendance)
Note: If you can’t find the inspection date in the buyer’s list, it typically means the inspection wasn’t recorded on the listing, or the buyer wasn’t registered for that event. Add or link the inspection to the listing first, then return to the buyer profile to select it.
Change or clear the last inspection date
Change the inspection date:
- Re‑open Inspections on the buyer profile and select a different recorded date
Clear the inspection date:
- Click the selected date to clear it
Note: If your workflow doesn't allow removing the inspection date, contact your admin to adjust the agency settings.
