About buyer notes
Note: Buyer Notes and Contact Notes are separate. Notes added to the Contact will not appear in the Buyer Lead notes.
Buyer notes allow you to record important information against buyer leads within a listing. These notes are managed directly from the Buyer Register and can be edited or removed, depending on the note type. You can edit or delete your own notes by default.
Each buyer note displays a visibility indicator to show whether it appears on the vendor report.
Buyer notes include a visual indicator to show their visibility status.
- Green icon - The note is visible on the vendor report
- Red icon - The note is not visible on the vendor report
Tip: Always check the icon before editing or deleting a note to confirm whether it is shared with vendors.
Edit or delete a buyer note
Editable buyer notes can be updated or removed directly from the contact history.
To edit or delete a Buyer Note:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Select the relevant listing
- Click Buyer Leads
- Select the Buyer
- Locate the Buyer Note in the contact’s history
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the note
- Select Edit note or Remove note
- Save your changes if editing or
- click Remove to confirm deletion
Important: Deleting a Buyer Note is permanent and cannot be undone.
Not all buyer notes can be edited.
Editable buyer notes
- Displayed in yellow
- Can be edited or deleted
Automated buyer lead notes
- Displayed in white
- Cannot be edited or deleted
Note: Notes that are ticked as important will appear in red highlight.
