About the Dashboard

The Dashboard in Box + Dice is your central hub for real-time statistics and insights into contacts and transactions. It provides comprehensive graphs and performance data that help you stay accountable, track your goals, and identify areas for improvement.

Dashboard users

The Dashboard supports both consultants and agency owners/managers, providing tools to monitor and improve performance.

  • Consultants – They can track their performance, spot areas for improvement, and identify opportunities to achieve their targets
  • Agency owners and managers – They can monitor consultants, encourage accountability, and manage performance at an individual, group, or office level

Dashboard features

Entity selector

The Entity Selector is in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Use it to select the level at which you want to view data:

  • Single Consultant – view metrics for an individual consultant
  • Consultant Group – view metrics for a group of consultants
  • Office Level – view metrics across the entire office

Header Statistics Current

Sales cycle metrics are displayed across the top of the Dashboard, providing quick access to:

  • Tasks – The total number of Due and Overdue tasks for the selected Consultant/entity
  • Contacts - All contacts related to the Consultant/entity
  • Appraisals - The number of Current Appraisals where the Consultant/entity is the Appraisal Activity Consultant
  • Listing - The number of Current Listings where the Consultant/entity is the Listing Activity Consultant

Note: To ensure listings appear in the dashboard, ensure the listing status is set to Current and that you are added as the Vendor in the listing’s Activity Consultant section. These filters determine whether a listing appears on your dashboard.

To reflect listings on the dashboard:

  • Go to: Sales > Listings
  • Select the listing that you want to appear in the dashboard
  • Click the Edit icon beside Vendors

In the modal:

  • Select your Activity Consultant
  • Search for and Click your Name in the Search Contacts
  • Click Close to apply changes

Your listing will now appear under Header Statistics – Listings on your dashboard.

Header Statistics Finance Year to Date

Header Statistics (FYTD) provides a snapshot of your key performance metrics for the current financial year to date:

  • Sales - Number of listings sold where you or your entity is the Purchaser Activity Consultant
  • Settled - Total value of listings settled under your or your entity’s consultancy

Favourite Filters

Favourite Filters give you quick access to commonly used views in the Contacts and Sales screens. Some standard filters are preloaded, but you can create or customise your own at any time. All Favourite Filters appear on your Dashboard for easy access, and the number shown in brackets represents the total results included in that filter.

Gross Commision Introduced

Gross Commission Introduced (GCI) is the total commission amount generated from a transaction before any splits, fees, or deductions. It represents the full commission that flows into the business when a property is sold. The Dashboard includes three key figures based on GCI:

  • Actual - Shows the total GCI for you or your entity in the current calendar month to date. Clicking this figure opens your Personal Business Plan for a detailed breakdown
  • Budgeted - Represents the monthly GCI target for you or your entity, as set in the individual Business Plan screen
  • Potential - Provides an estimate of your future income. It is calculated by multiplying your average Commission Rate, based on recent listings, by the Authority Price of your current listings, giving a forecast of possible upcoming revenue

Note: When selecting a Consultant Group or an Office, the system will display aggregated figures. However, clicking through will always take you to the logged-in user’s Business Plan.

Contacts

Contacts on the Dashboard are organised by Activity type. You can select an activity to filter your contacts accordingly, making it easier to focus on specific engagement actions.

Tasks

Tasks are broken down into three categories: Overdue, Due, and Future. The number of Future Tasks displayed is a strong indicator of how actively and deliberately you or your team are engaging with your database, providing insight into long-term follow-up activity.

Performance

The GCI Graph compares your Actual Gross Commission Introduced with your Budgeted on the legend, making it easier to focus on the figures that are Target GCI from the Business Plan. You can toggle the visibility of each data series by clicking the legend, making it easier to focus on the figures most relevant at any time.

Pipelines and Transactions

The Pipeline vs Transactions view allows you to switch between two perspectives. The Pipeline shows appraisals scheduled in the next 12 months, while the Transactions view shows appraisals, listings, and sales from the past 12 months. Both views are based on the Consultant or entity you have selected.

Latest activity

The Latest activity section on the Home Page allows you to post office-wide messages visible to all users when they log in to Box+Dice. It’s a convenient way to share updates, reminders, or announcements, such as team absences or upcoming events
