About Quick Tasks

Quick tasks is a simplified workspace designed to help you quickly and efficiently action your assigned tasks. Instead of navigating multiple areas of the system, Quick tasks bring everything you need to complete a task into one clear, structured view. It groups your tasks into three tabs: Today, Overdue, and My Queue, so you always know what needs attention first.

Quick tasks is particularly useful when you’re managing a high volume of actions across multiple listings, agents, or system areas. Each task opens directly to the location where the work needs to be completed, and once you finish that action, Quick Tasks automatically returns you to your list. This removes unnecessary steps and helps maintain your momentum.

View your assigned tasks

Use the Today and Overdue tabs to quickly identify what needs immediate attention.

To view and complete tasks due today or overdue:

  • Click Quick Tasks from the main menu
  • Click Today to view tasks due today
  • Click Overdue to view any past‑due tasks
  • Click a task to open the related part of the system

This will open the task in the correct area of the system to keep your workflow seamless even when tasks relate to different listings, properties, or agents.

  • Click the linked action
  • Complete the required action

Once you are done with the action or task, Quick task will automatically reopen and returns you to the list.

  • Click Complete to finalise the task
Note: Quick Tasks always opens each task where it needs to be actioned, even if it’s on a different listing.

Sort and group tasks

You can customise how tasks are displayed in Quick Tasks to match the way you prefer to work.

By default, tasks are sorted by Date/Subject, but you can also group tasks by Contact or Property.

This allows you to:

  • Work through all tasks linked to a specific contact
  • Complete multiple tasks related to the same property in one go
  • Organise your queue in a way that suits your workflow

To sort tasks:

  • Click the Group by dropdown in the Quick Tasks panel to switch between grouping options and quickly focus on related tasks

Create a customised task queue

If you need to complete tasks for someone else, or tasks due in the future, you can build a custom queue.

To customised task queue:

  • Go to: Tasks > Task Manager
  • Search for tasks by agent, due date, or listing
  • Select the tasks you want to work through
  • Click Add to my Queue
  • Go to: Quick Tasks
  • Click My Queue
  • Work through each item and mark them as complete

Understand completed tasks in Quick Tasks

Completed tasks remain visible briefly in case you need to undo an action.

  • If you complete a task unintentionally, Select the Task's Subject or edit icon and then select the Mark as Not Complete button within the "Edit Task"

After completing a task, it will remain visible until you close or refresh the Quick Tasks panel. Once you refresh or navigate away, the task disappears from Quick Tasks, and you'll need to search for the task inside Task Manager to find it again.

Tip:  To view all completed tasks, open Task Manager. This is where you can access the full history of actions completed across all listings.
