About the map function
The Map function allows you to view property data geographically and apply location-based filters to your search. The map uses live Google Maps data which helps narrow results to specific regions or clusters.
Tip: For permanent geographical filters, consider setting up Property Areas rather than using ad hoc shapes.
Before you begin
Select all other filters before enabling the map. This ensures the map zooms in on relevant areas.
Example: If you filter by Owner or Appraised Properties, the map will center on those locations. Without filters, the map may appear zoomed out.
Use the map function
To use the map function:
- Go to: Properties
- Click Show Map at the top right of the screen
- Click and drag the map to your desired location

- Select a shape and click Delete Shape to remove it
- Scroll down below the map to view properties filtered by your usual criteria and the area you drew
