About Property Alerts

Property Alerts notify potential buyers when a new listing matches the preferences they submitted on your website. When someone registers for alerts, their details are automatically added to your Box+Dice CRM. This ensures buyer interest captured on your website flows directly into your database, helping you respond quickly and maintain accurate contact records.

How new Property Alert contacts are created

When a website visitor signs up for Property Alerts, Box+Dice creates a new contact profile using the details they submit.

  • A website user completes the Property Alert form on your Box+Dice‑hosted website
  • Box+Dice automatically creates a new contact in your CRM
  • Any buyer preferences entered—such as location, price range, or property type—are added to the contact record
Tip: The more information the user enters, the more complete the contact profile will be in Box+Dice.

How contacts are matched

To prevent duplicate records, Box+Dice checks for matching contact information during creation.

Box+Dice compares the submitted:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email or mobile number

If a match is found, preferences are added to the existing contact profile.

If no match exists, a new contact is created.

Note: A match requires all three key fields (first name, last name, and email or mobile) to align with an existing record.
