About sources
A source represents where a lead, appraisal, or listing originated from. Recording this information helps you understand which channels are generating business and supports reporting across your CRM.
Sources are commonly used to:
- Track marketing performance
- Identify effective lead channels
- Improve business insights and reporting
Where sources are used
A source can be recorded in several areas throughout the system.
- Appraisals - Select a source using the Appraisal Source dropdown when creating or editing an appraisal
- Listings - Add a source under the Listing Information section when editing a listing
- Buyer leads - Assign a source using the Source dropdown when managing a buyer lead
Manage sources in settings
You can customise the list of available sources used across appraisals, listings, and buyer leads.
- Go to Settings > CRM > Sources
- Click + Add source to create a new source
- Select an existing source to edit its name or delete it
Note: A source cannot be deleted once it has been applied to an appraisal or listing.
