Overview
Once the AML Compliance Module has been enabled, you can create AML records for contacts and associate those records with relevant listings and appraisals.
You can manage AML requirements from contact records, listings, and appraisals.
Start a New AML Check from a contact
Each contact will display a button to begin AML due diligence once the module is enabled.
To start an AML check:
- Go to: Contacts
- Open a Contact record
- Select Start New AML at the top of the profile
- Fill in the details for the AML check:
- Select Status
- Add any required attachments, such as certificates from your AML provider
- Select Listings to link the AML check to the relevant listing
- Click Save to record the check
Manage AML Checks from a listing
You can also view and update AML status directly within a listing.
To manage AML from the listing:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Select the relevant listing
- Scroll to the Vendors section
- Review the AML status for each contact
ALM status indicators:
- Green - AML completed
- Yellow - AML check in progress
- Blue - Recent AML exists but not linked to this listing
- White - No AML check started
For contacts in progress:
- Click AML In progress
- Select the Status to Complete
- Click Save
For contacts with an existing AML check:
- Click Use existing AML to link that check to the listing
For contacts with no AML history:
- Select Start New AML
- Fill in the details for the AML check
- Click Save
Manage AML Checks from an appraisal
You can also view and update AML status directly within an appraisal.
To manage AML from the appraisal:
- Go to: Sales > Appraisals
- Select the relevant appraisal
- Scroll to the Appraisal Contacts section
- Review the AML status for each contact
Completing AML at the appraisal stage supports workflows where due diligence is required before a listing authority is signed and allows the AML record to carry through if the appraisal is later converted to a listing.
