Summary

Learn how to use filters on the inspections screen to narrow inspection results and generate inspection reports efficiently.

This article covers:

Overview

Inspection screen filters allow you to refine inspection results based on inspection type and criteria such as listings, dates, and status. These filters help you quickly locate relevant inspections without manually searching through large lists.

Using filters improves visibility and reporting accuracy by allowing you to focus only on inspections that meet your criteria. Filtered results are reflected on screen and support reporting and audit workflows under History.

Access the inspections screen

The inspections screen is grouped by inspection type, each offering tailored filtering options.

  • Go to: Inspections
  • Select SalesRentals, or Legacy

Each inspection type provides different filter and viewing capabilities.

Filter Sales or Rentals inspections

Sales and Rentals inspections offer the most comprehensive filtering options.

Filter by listing status

The Listing status section allows you to refine listings based on where they are in the sales process.

  • In the Filters panel, under the Listing status
  • Tick one or more statuses, such as:
    • Current
    • Awaiting Unconditional
    • Not Settled
    • Settled
    • Reserved
    • Reservation Overdue
    • Listing Cancelled
    • Sale Cancelled

The listings grid refreshes automatically to show only properties matching the selected statuses.

Tip: You can select multiple statuses at the same time to broaden your results.

Filter by listing consultant

Use this filter if you want to view listings managed by specific consultants.

  • Under Listing consultant, click in the search field
  • Enter the consultant’s name
  • Select the consultant from the list

Only listings assigned to the selected consultant will be shown.

Filter by suburb

To narrow results to a specific location:

  • Under the Suburb filter
  • Click into the suburb field
  • Enter the suburb name and select it from the list

The grid updates to show listings in the selected suburb only.

Filter by listed date

You can filter listings based on when they were listed.

  • Under Listed date, click Select listed date
  • Choose a date or date range

This is useful for reviewing recently listed or older properties.

Use advanced filters

For more specific filtering:

  • Scroll to Current filter
  • Click Add filter item
  • Select the filter type and criteria you want to apply

Advanced filters allow you to further refine large result sets.

Manage saved filters

If you frequently use the same filter combinations:

  • Click Saved filters at the bottom of the Filters panel
  • Select a saved filter to apply it instantly

This helps speed up workflow and keeps filtering consistent.

Once filters are applied:

  • The listings grid updates in real time
  • You can select individual properties or use Select all records at the top of the list
  • Use the top‑right options (such as Choose reportEdit columns, or Show map) to adjust how results are displayed
  • Switch between views like Table or Inspections using the view toggles above the grid

Filter Legacy inspections

Use the filters on the left‑hand side to refine results by suburb, office, consultant, open time reason, or to show only listings that have inspections scheduled. You can also search directly by street name.

To filter legacy inspections:

  • Go to: Inspections >Legacy
  • Use Search by street in inspect to type part of a street name and narrow results
  • Click Select suburb to choose a suburb
  • Click Select office to filter inspections by office
  • Click Select consultant to view inspections assigned to a specific consultant
  • Click Select reason under Open time reason to filter by inspection type
  • Tick Only with inspections if you want to exclude listings without inspections
  • Click Apply filters to update the inspection results shown in the grid

Generate an inspection report

Once you have filtered the required inspection results, you can generate a report.

  • Select Library in the top‑right corner

  • Export or save the generated report

Note: Reports reflect only the inspections currently displayed based on your applied filters.
