Summary
Learn how inspection options work when a purchaser is added and how they affect scheduled inspections.
Inspection options give you control over what happens to scheduled inspections when a purchaser is added to a listing. This applies to Current or Not settled listings only when at least one future inspection already exists.
When you add a purchaser to an eligible listing that has future inspections scheduled, an additional option appears before the purchaser is finalised, allowing you to decide how those inspections should be handled.
Note: This option only appears if a future inspection is already scheduled when you add a purchaser. If there are no upcoming inspections, you will not see this prompt.
To choose what happens to future inspections:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Click Sales Details
- Click the pencil icon besides Purchaser(s)
- You will be prompted to choose one of the following:
- Keep inspections to allow scheduled inspections to continue
- Remove inspections to cancel all future inspections
- Click Continue and complete the purchaser addition process
Your selection is applied immediately and reflected in the listing’s inspection schedule.
