About consultant reporting after a data move

When a consultant is moved to another office using a Move Consultant Data chore, some information remains associated with the consultant's original office, while other information is associated with the consultant's new office.

Understanding this behaviour can help explain why reporting results may appear across multiple offices after a consultant has been transferred.

What happens when a consultant is moved

When a Consultant Data Move Chore is completed, the following historical data is moved from the original consultant profile to the new consultant profile:

  • All appointments
  • All appraisal lead lists
  • All categories
  • All contact activities (Owner, Appraisal, Vendor, Purchaser, Buyer, Appraisal Lead, etc.)
  • All eAlerts
  • All tasks
  • Listing Consultant assignments
  • Advertising Consultant assignments

The following data remains associated with the consultant's original profile and office:

  • Existing GCI
  • Existing Commission Consultant assignments
Note: This is expected system behaviour and does not indicate a data issue.

How consultant data moves affect reporting

Because consultant data is split between the original and new offices, reporting may also be split across both offices.

To view the consultant's complete history, you may need to review reporting from both the original office and the new office.

  • Historical GCI and commission data will appear under the original office
  • New listing and advertising activity will appear under the new office
Note: If reporting appears incomplete after a consultant has moved offices, review reporting in both offices to ensure all consultant activity is included.
