Things We've Made

Connect external AI assistants to Box+Dice with MCP
Built for: Early Adopters, Sales Agents

Connect compatible external AI assistants to Box+Dice through Model Context Protocol, or MCP.

MCP lets an approved AI assistant work with Box+Dice on behalf of the person who connected it. Depending on the access granted, the assistant can search Contacts and Sales Listings, review enquiries, and perform supported actions such as adding notes or creating Tasks. Each connection is authorised by an individual Box+Dice user and operates within that user’s existing permissions. The AI assistant cannot access records or perform actions that the connected user is not already authorised to access.

When connecting an AI assistant, Box+Dice will open an authorisation screen showing the requested access. The user must review and approve this access before the connection is created. Actions that make changes in Box+Dice also require the user to preview and explicitly confirm the action before it is completed. MCP connections are recorded in Box+Dice audit logs and can be revoked at any time. A security notification is also sent when a new connection is created.

Important:

  • Only connect private, enterprise-grade AI tools that protect personal information and do not use your data to train their models.
  • The person enabling the connection is responsible for understanding how their chosen AI provider stores, processes and protects Box+Dice data. They are also responsible for reviewing actions before approving them. Changes made by an external AI assistant are treated as actions performed by the connected user, and database rollbacks may not be available if unintended changes are confirmed.
  • As this capability is in Early Access, B+D Support can provide only limited assistance with external AI tools and their configuration. Access is subject to fair-use limits and may be restricted, changed or withdrawn during the Early Access period.

During the early pilot stage this feature can only be enabled by the Box+Dice team for approved participants. Please contact the B+D Support team or your Account Manager if your agency would like to participate.

Configure a Display Price prefix when 'Match all prices to Vendor/Reserve Price' is used
Built for: Sales admins, Agency admins

You can now configure a custom prefix to be used before the Display Price when enabling the "Match all prices to Vendor/Reserve Price" toggle, for example: “Reserve price: $”. The prefix is configured per office group under 'Settings > Listings > Prices'. The configured prefix is applied the next time Match all prices to Vendor/Reserve Price is switched on. It will not change existing listings retrospectively.

Things We've Improved

  • New Listing End Date Reached and Edited Triggers. Two new Automation triggers, End Date Reached and End Date/Time Edited, help agencies respond when a fixed-date campaign approaches or its timing changes. These work in a similar way to the existing Auction Date triggers and can support workflows such as notifying compliance or administration teams before a campaign ends so pricing and listing information can be reviewed.
  • Filter Listings by Custom File Types. Custom Listing File Types introduced in v10.3 are now available under the "Upload File Type" filter in Sales Listing Search. Users can find listings that have or do not have a selected custom file type, making it easier to identify missing documents such as Material Fact Sheets, VPA Agreements or other agency-specific compliance files.
  • Expanded listing and price merge fields available for consultant actions. Consultant notification and task actions for key Sales Listing triggers now support additional merge fields, including Authority Price, Search Price, Display Price, Portal Price, Vendor/Reserve Price and Vendor Names. These fields are available across supported triggers such as Listing Added, Listing Cancelled, Listing Marked as Sold, Listing Price Edited, Listing Type Edited, Auction Date events and Authority Expiry Date events, helping teams include more useful listing context in automated notifications.
  • Business Salutation as a Library merge field. Library Email, SMS and Letter templates now include a 'Business Salutation' merge field under the Business Fields category, allowing templates to populate salutations for company and business contacts.

Things We're Working On

  • Active Buyer enhancements, with system-calculated Buyer Strength ratings.
  • Rental Listing management in the Agent App for iOS and Android.
  • A new File Manager for listing documents, including version management.
  • Pending Payments for Conjunctional Commissions, to streamline processing of third-party and referral deductions.
  • Compliance safeguards that can prevent portal loading when a required listing file is missing.
  • Integration with MRI's SecureSign e-Signature solution, for Listing Authority and Contract of Sale workflow journeys.
