About content boxes
Content boxes allow you to design flexible, movable sections of content within your blast email. You can add text, images, links, and custom HTML, and arrange these elements into columns to create visually structured layouts.
Add text using content box
Use a Content Box to add and style text as part of your email layout.
To add text:
- Go to: Contacts
- Filter your contacts to find the group you want to email
- Tick the checkbox to select all contacts
- Click Email Blast > New Blast at the top of the screen
- Click the arrow next to Content Box
- Click inside the Content Box to enable editing
- Enter your text
Your system’s default template style will apply automatically.
- Highlight the text to format it using the toolbar options, including:
- Font style
- Colour
- Alignment
- Indentation
- Click Save
Add images using content box
You can upload images directly into a Content Box to enhance your email design.
To add an image
- Click inside the Content Box
- Click the Insert/edit image button
- Drag and drop one image into the popup, or click the popup to browse
- Adjust the pixel size if needed
- Click Insert Image to add it to your email
Embed a URL
URLs can be linked to text or images within a content box.
To embed a link:
- Click inside the Content Box
- Highlight the text or image you want to link
- Click the Insert/edit link button
- Enter the URL
- Enter a Tile
- Select Target to New window
- Click OK to apply the link
Configure columns
Columns allow you to place multiple content boxes side by side.
To configure columns:
- Tick left or right column to add columns
- Click each column individually to edit its content
- Click between boxes and drag to resize
If a column is empty, it may automatically resize to accommodate other columns.
Add additional content boxes
Add more content boxes to create complex layouts or improve alignment.
To add content boxes:
- Click an existing Content Box
- Select Add Another Content Box
- Click Preview & Save to refresh the view and display the new Content Box
Duplicate content box
All Content Box styling is stored as HTML. This can be duplicated or replaced as needed.
To duplicate content:
- Click the Content Box
- Select the HTML source code button to view the code
- Copy the code
- Paste it into another Content Box's source code to duplicate the design
