Version 8.4 of the Box and Dice web app has been released to Beta clients.
You can check your version below the 'Help Centre' icon in the bottom left corner of your Box and Dice System.
Things We’ve Made
Auto-send templated emails/SMS to a contact when a trigger event like Settlement day occurs
With v8.4 you’ll be able to send automated Emails or SMS based on our existing contact automation triggers. For example, sending a templated email to a Purchaser when a listing's Unconditional date is reached:
Go to Settings > Automations > Contact Automations > Add > Choose “Send email Template” or "Send SMS Template" as the automation action and choose a template.
The "ASAP excluding Contact Quiet Hours" option will ensure that messages are only sent outside quiet hours (quiet hours are between 9pm and 8 am).
This feature builds on our existing Contact Automation action which currently allows you to auto apply a Task Template against a contact, which is a great option for clients who are not keen on fully automated communications, and prefer a human review step before sending.
Data Theft Prevention: Tracking a user's recent views
In addition to the suite of data-theft prevention features we already have available, we’ve added a new "Recent Views" menu option against contacts, appraisals and sales listings, that will show you each user who has viewed a record in the past 6 months and the timestamp of their most recent visit.
This information can help your teams understand who has engaged with key records, detect unusual behaviour and reduce data theft in agencies that use Open Databases.
Users with the new “View the recent views” ACL (automatically granted to Franchise Admin and Admin users) can now quickly identify staff who have been stealing sensitive information and facilitating better tracking and management of their sensitive records.
Things We’ve Improved
- Reassign selected Tasks instead of only in bulk. We’ve improved the task management tool when re-assigning tasks between agents. When reassigning tasks, users can now select specific tasks by using appropriate filters for incomplete or overdue tasks. The Re-assign tasks button will be greyed out if no tasks are selected, ensuring clarity. The updated modal clearly informs users of the number of tasks being reassigned and highlights those already completed, which will not be reassigned. These improvements prevent data errors and enhance task reassignment efficiency.
- Keep or remove a listing's inspections when adding purchasers. When adding a purchaser to a Current or Not Settled listing with scheduled inspections, a new modal allows users to either remove or keep future inspections before proceeding to add purchasers. This update streamlines the user journey and ensures clients can keep hosting inspections while waiting for an under-offer listing to reach its actual unconditional date.
-
Show a reminder when an Appraisal Contact has not been contacted in over 12 months. Ensure no appraisal contact is overlooked with the new reminder feature in our new Detailed View of the Sales Appraisal and Rental Appraisal search screens. Users will now see a warning icon if their appraisal contacts have not been communicated with for over 12 months or if they don't have a future task/appointment scheduled. Hover over the icon to receive specific messages about the situation, such as “No task or appointment scheduled” or “Last recorded contact is over 12 months ago.”
This enhancement helps users maintain engagement with their appraisal contacts and reduces the risk of missed conversion opportunities.
