We've begun rolling out version 3.8 to all users. This will be a staggered release and should reach all systems within the coming weeks.
You can check what version your system is running by looking under the 'Help Centre' icon in the bottom left corner of your Box+Dice System.
There's something for everyone in this release, which is the culmination of some major projects around Properties, Buying Criteria and E-Alerts.

Things We've Made
-
Added new Property Areas functionality to define Farm or Business Development Areas, or any other geographic areas like School Zones or Municipalities. Perhaps half a suburb is hilly and leafy, and the other half on the flat, and you want to easily differentiate the two in Buying Criteria.
- Property Areas are administered via Settings>Property Areas
- Draw a shape on a map to define the Property Area and give it a name
- Properties are automatically assigned to a Property Area based on their address
- There’s a new option to filter via Property Area in the Properties screen
- Property Areas are shown on the Property screen alongside other property attributes:
- The label ‘Property Areas’ can be modified via Settings>General>Terminology.
-
The new Territory Mapping feature enables Franchise Groups to easily and accurately define and manage office ‘boundaries’.
- Territories are administered via Settings>Territories
- Draw a shape on a map to define the Territory and give it a name
- Assign one or more Offices to the Territory
- Properties are automatically assigned to a Territory based on their address
- There’s a new option to filter via Territory in the Properties screen
- Territories are shown on the Property screen alongside other property attributes:
- Users receive a warning message when appraising or listing a property in another office’s territory, or completing the Sale Details, to remind them to follow the Franchise rules regarding notification and Territory Fees
- Auto Alerts support Territory Mapping, so it is possible to receive alerts when someone outside your territory performs an action on a property within your territory
Things We've Improved
-
Existing Property Zones have been upgraded and renamed to Property Tags.
- They’re like Categories, but for properties!
- Multiple Tags can be assigned to each property
- New Tags can be created ‘on the fly’ - no need to go to Settings
- Tags are shown on the Property Detail screen:
- The label ‘Tags’ can be modified via Settings>General>Terminology.
-
Buying Criteria has been reinvented as Matching Criteria.
- All existing Buying Criteria has been retained and converted
- Renting Criteria can now be captured too
- Multiple sets of Buying and/or Renting Criteria can be maintained for each contact
- Matching parameters are improved:
- Beds: enter a minimum, maximum or range
- Baths: enter a minimum
- Cars: is now the total of Carports, Garages, Open Spaces; enter a minimum
- To complement the new Matching Criteria, E-Alerts have been overhauled too.
- E-Alerts can now trigger off both Buyer Matching Criteria & Renter Matching Criteria
- They are sent daily between 6pm and 8pm, when matched listings are found
- Sales E-Alerts can alert on:
-
Property Listed (same day)
-
Listing Sold (same day)
-
Auction Reminder (2 days prior)
-
Inspection Reminder (2 days prior)
-
- Rental E-Alerts can alert on:
-
Rental Listed (same day)
-
Rental Leased (same day)
-
Inspection Reminder (2 days prior)
-
- It is possible to have a page on your GRAB website where E-Alerts and Buying Criteria can be self-managed by client
- There is an API available to allow your non-GRAB website to maintain E-Alerts and Buying criteria too.
