About contact history events
You can review all past and present interactions for a contact in their history timeline. Users with Manager-level access or higher can delete history events when necessary. While deletion is possible, it is generally recommended to retain interaction records for context and reporting.
Delete a history event
The history timeline displays logged interactions, system‑generated events, and user‑created notes. Users with Manager-level access or above can delete items directly from the history timeline.
Important: Deleted timeline events cannot be recovered. Only delete items when absolutely necessary.
To review and delete a history event:
- Go to: Contacts
- Select the contact you want to review
- In the contact’s Timeline view all historical events
- Scroll through the list or Filter the events to find the event you want to remove
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the event to open available actions
- Select Remove activity
- Click Remove to confirm
Note: Future-dated actions do not appear in the history timeline. They must be managed from the Tasks or Appointments sections.
