About the contact biography
The Contact Biography provides a central place to store important background information about a contact. It acts as a main note that follows the contact across both the Contact screen and the Task Manager, helping you stay informed without navigating between screens.
What the contact biography is used for
The Contact Biography is designed to give quick access to high‑value information about a contact.
Key characteristics:
- It is a general note about the contact
- It displays prominently at the top of the Contact record
- It is also visible in the Task Manager when working on tasks linked to the contact
Some consultants use the Contact Biography as a prospecting tool because it keeps key information visible in both the Contact and Task Manager screens, removing the need to switch between them. Use of the Contact Biography is entirely optional and may be left blank without affecting system behaviour.
