Summary
Learn how to fix listing links that don’t work in blast emails by checking and updating the Listing URL used to generate these links.
This article covers:
How it works
When sending a blast email, the system uses the Listing URL stored in a property record to generate the clickable listing or Read More link. If this URL is incorrect or missing, the link in your email will not work.
Check the listing URL in the property record
Before resending your blast email, verify that the Listing URL is correct in the property record.
To check listing url:
- Go to: Properties
- Select the relevant Listing record
- Click the pencil icon beside the Listing Information
- Scroll to Load & Web
- In the Listing URL field: confirm that the URL is complete and accurate
This is what is used to create links in your Blast emails. If the URL is incorrect, the link will not work.
- Update the URL if needed
- Click Save
Note: Updating the Listing URL does not fix links in emails that have already been sent. You must resend the Blast after correcting the URL.
Test your blast before sending
Sending a test email helps ensure all links work as expected.
To test blast:
- Return to your Blast email
- Resend the Blast to yourself
- Click all links to confirm they open the correct listing
Tip: Always send a test Blast to yourself before sending to multiple recipients.
