Version 8.9 of the Box and Dice web app has been released to Beta clients.  

You can check your version below the 'Help Centre' icon in the bottom left corner of your Box and Dice System.

Things We’ve Made

Data Theft Prevention: New 'View files outside of office/authorised office' ACL

The new ACL allows you to restrict Listing File access so that users without the ACL permission can only view files for Listings belonging to their own or authorised offices, while those users with the ACL can view files for any listing. The files section on the listing will remain visible, but download/view access will be denied unless the user has this ACL. This allows clients to protect sensitive information like Listing Authorities from being viewed by users unrelated to the Listing. 

Uploading new Inspections to listing portals

We've introduced a new "Upload Listing to all portals?" tickbox in the 'Inspections by Property' modal, for seamless syncing and portal uploads. You can now add/manage inspections and upload the changes to a listing's portals without needing to leave our new Sales and Rental inspection screens. The tickbox will appear for users with portal loading permission and when the listing has previously been launched to portals. When ticked for one listing, the setting will be stored in your browser for all future inspections.

Export Rental Appraisals and Listings to CSV

Users can now export their Rental Appraisals and Listings to CSV or Word, further aligning our Rental screen features with the same feature set available on our Sales screens. Rental BDMs and Leasing managers can use these exports for internal reporting. 

 

Things We’ve Improved

  • View Inspection Library reports from our new Sales Inspection screen. The 'Library' button within the new Sales Inspection view now opens our Library Inspection reports, ensuring users can maintain access to these older reports without needing to rely on our old Legacy Inspections screen. Note: To access the Sales Listing Library reports, switch to Table or Basic view before clicking 'the Library' button.
  • Contact Automation Email Subject. Users can now configure the subject line for Emails sent via Contact Automations. Previously, the subject was automatically filled from the 'Automation Name' field. This update provides users greater control over their email communications, enhancing deliverability and clarity, similar to the functionality available for internal Auto Alert emails.
  • New Filters for Contacts Search:
    • 'Contact Creator' - Combine with 'Contact Added' to find the total number of contacts a particular user created within a given date range.
    • 'Residential Address is known/unknown' - Combine with 'Categories is My Contact' to find how many of an agent's contacts are missing a residential address.
    • 'Criteria Creator' - Combine with 'Criteria Created/Updated' to find the total number of contacts with a matching criteria a particular user created within a given date range.
    • 'E-Alert Sender' - Combine with 'E-Alert Status' to find the total number of contacts that are subscribed to E-Alerts from a particular user.
    • 'Looking for Listing Office' - Find contacts with criteria that is scoped to listings from particular office(s).
  • New Appraisal filters.
    • New filters for the Sales Appraisals have been added:
      • ‘Expected Commission’
      • ‘Close Likelihood’
    • New Filters for Rental Appraisals have been added:
      • ‘Expected Commission’
      • ‘Close Likelihood’  
      • ‘Future Appraisal Contact Tasks/Appointments’
      • 'Cancel Date'
      • 'Listed Date'
  • Import extra fields via Contact Importer. You can now import the following:
    • Secondary Mobile numbers,
    • Secondary Email addresses,
    • a Contact's Gender,

    • a Contact's Bio
