Overview
Listing Task Templates allow agents and administrators to standardise workflows for appraisals and listings. You can now create, colour-code, and apply task templates directly to a listing—making it easier to manage compliance and marketing tasks.
Task templates are available for Contacts, and you can create them for listings as well.
Create a listing task template
Set up reusable templates for listing-related tasks to save time and maintain consistency.
To create a listing task template:
- Go to: Settings > CRM > Task Templates
- Click +Add
In the Add task template modal
- Select Template Type (note that personal templates will only be accessible by you)
- Select Related To Sales Listing
- Enter a Template Name (e.g., Listing Compliance Tasks)
- Click Continue
An Edit task template modal will display.
- Select a Template Colour to help visually identify it later
- Click +Add
- Add each task item (e.g., Sign up solicitor, Submit paperwork, Put up signboard)

Choose who the task is assigned to:
- Consultant - a specific individual
- Consultant group - a shared responsibility across a team
- Role - such as listing consultant or administrator
Or leave blank if the task assignee will be decided when applying the task template
- Enter the number of Days, Weeks, Months or Years after the commencement date that you want the Task to fall due (note that this can be a negative value)
- Select the relevant Task Type from the drop down menu
- Select a Linked Action or Library Template if applicable
- Enter a Subject
- Enter a Task Note for detailed instructions on how to complete the task
- Click Save
Apply a task template to a listing
Attach an existing task template to a listing so tasks are automatically created and assigned.
To apply a task template to a listing:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Select the Listing record
- In the Sales Listing tab
- Scroll down to TASKS (or click on the Tasks tab)
- Click Apply Task Template
- Search for and select the desired template (e.g., Listing Compliance Tasks)
Select the Consultant who will receive any tasks not already assigned to a specific consultant or role in the template
Enter the Commencement Date (optional as the date will auto-populate)
Tasks will be scheduled forward from this date.
- Click Apply
All individual tasks from that template will be added to the listing automatically.
