Introducing Protected Categories, enhancing data security for clients running open databases.
We have heard from agents that their prospecting categories are just as sensitive as their appraisal activities, and they want this critical pipeline information restricted to themselves and trusted roles like their managers.
Mark a new or existing category as Protected via Settings > CRM > Setup Categories. Protected Categories will appear in purple for easy identification. Contacts with a protected category assigned by other consultants will only appear in search results if the user has the necessary permission. Apply a protected category like Vendor A to your own prospects, and that contact won’t appear in search results when users from another office filter by Vendor A, unless they are authorised.
Visit Settings > General > Access > Contacts > Contact Details > Contact Categories to grant users permission to include protected categories in search results, or to limit visibility so a user only sees contacts when the protected categories is assigned to themselves.
Note: Contacts with a Protected Category will only be excluded from Contact Search results if a user adds that category as a filter, eg. "where Categories is any of [Protected Category]"
Group SMS helps your team send one bulk message and B+D will set the sender to be from the Agent the recipient already has a unique category relationship with.
Say your agency has just sold 14 Smith Street and you want to let local owners in your database know. On the Contact Search screen, draw your map shape around Smith Street, add the My Contact category filter, and select the contacts you want to reach. Choose Group SMS from the More menu, compose your message, and send. Box+Dice makes sure every recipient sees the message as if it was sent by their My Contact consultant.
