Version 5.10 of the Box and Dice web app has been released to all clients.  

You can check your version below the 'Help Centre' icon in the bottom left corner of your Box and Dice System.

Things We’ve Made

  • A new Reports screen - we have created a new screen to house all Box and Dice reports so that all reports can be accessed conveniently from one location. You can now access your Staff, Contact, Appraisal and Sales Listing reports from this screen via the left hand main navigation menu. We will continue to deliver new reports over time via this new reporting screen.

    Clicking on this will open up the Reports screen, where you will see four tabs that separate out the different types of reports - Staff Reports, Contact Reports, Appraisal Reports and Sales Listing reports. 

    • *New* Staff Reports - these are new reports and run directly from the Reports screens. While only two reports exist now, we will be building KPI reports that will be accessible from this section over the next months.
    • Contact, Appraisal and Sales Listing Reports - these are the reports that you can currently access from the existing Search screens. The Reports screen acts as an alternate pathway to these reports. These reports function slightly differently from when you access them in their home screen. You first select the report you would like to view and will then be prompted to either select a saved filter, build your own, or amend a default filter. This will then be used to populate the data of your report.

  • SFTP option for Listing XML - when setting up a Portal Supplier it is now possible to configure the Listing XML be sent via SFTP, meaning your listing data will be encrypted as it is sent to the third party. This can be configured from the following screen when setting up a new supplier Settings > Accounting > Suppliers > [supplier name] > Manage tech settings.

Things We’ve Improved

  • When viewing an email sent from Box&Dice that has an attachment, the attachment will be accessible via a link at the end of the email. Previously a link was included that needed to be opened to then open the attachment.
  • The order of Buyer Notes on the Buyer Lead, Simple Vendor report and Advanced Vendor report has been made consistent.
  • When a Contact is imported via the Contact Importer and the Permit Email and Permit SMS are not set, we will now default these permissions to 'Enabled'. More info on Importing Contacts can be found in this

  • The Plezzel API has been updated (see documentation https://plezzelboxdiceapi.docs.apiary.io/#reference) the changes are to:
    • Allow notes to be created on the Contact
    • Make Sales Listing URL available
  • The Rebot API has been updated (see documentation https://rebotboxdiceapi.docs.apiary.io/#reference/consultants) the changes are to:
    • Add Consultant Position to the 'List All Consultants' endpoint

  • For systems with more than one Office Group a new setting has been created under Settings > CRM > E-Alerts Setup with a new option called “Limit listing’s included in E-Alerts to the contact’s office group” with an enable or disable option. When this setting is enabled we will scope the listings included in E-Alerts to only be from the Consultant(s) office group that is associated with the Contact.

Things We’ve Fixed

  • On the Tasks screen, when sorting Tasks by 'Contact', the task count would not always be accurate. This has been corrected.
  • When an unsubscribe request has been actioned by a Contact and that Contact shares an email address with another Contact in your database, both Contacts will have their Email permission set to "unsubscribed".
  • When deleting a Contact or Listing note, a record log will be created.
