Summary
Learn how to upload property listings to external web portals using the Portal Uploader in Box+Dice.
This article covers:
Overview
The Portal Uploader allows you to publish listings from Box+Dice to external property portals and marketing platforms.
Once a portal has been configured for your office, you can upload listings directly from the listing record. This ensures your property information is distributed to supported portals quickly and consistently.
Examples of portals that may receive listing uploads include:
- realestate.com.au
- Domain Group
- other supported real estate websites and marketing platforms
Upload a listing to web portals for the first time
To upload a listing to portals for the first time:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Navigate to the listing you want to upload
- Scroll to the Portal Uploader section
- Click Manage Portals
- Select Web Portals
- Tick the portals you want to upload the listing to
- Click one of the following:
- Add Campaign Items (for sales listings), or
- Add Suppliers (for rental listings)
- Change the Portal Status from Inactive to Current
- Click Upload All
After the upload is complete, a Success notification should appear and the portal status will remain Current.
If the upload fails part way through a list of portals, any subsequent portals in the list after the one which failed will not have been uploaded to. You will need to upload again after fixing any validation issues. Alternately you can upload to individual portals by clicking on them directly rather than using the Upload All button.
Note: Web portals must be added individually to each listing. There is currently no option to bulk add web portals to multiple listings.
Update an existing portal upload
If you make changes to a listing, such as updating the price or adding inspection times, you must upload the listing again so the portals receive the latest information.
To update an exsisting portal:
- Go to: Sales > Listings
- Search and select to the listing you want to upload
- Scroll to the Portal Uploader section
- Click Manage Portals
- Click Upload All
This sends the updated listing information to the selected portals.
If the listing becomes Sold or Withdrawn set the portal status as such prior to clicking Upload All.
Use the portal status Offmarket to temporarily hide the listing off the internet.
